Preschool - 21 years \n Experience as a School Based SLP: Required.
Must have working knowledge of Washington State rules and
regulations for disabled students (WAC). \n \n Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) – School Based – Qualifications and
Responsibilities \n \n Experience and training in diagnosis and
therapeutic intervention of articulation, expressive and receptive
language, fluency, and voice. \n Working knowledge of strategies
and accommodations to support students in inclusion settings. \n
Ability to collaborate positively with general education and
special education staff, parents and administrators. \n Experience
with a variety of diagnostic instruments appropriate for students.
\n Skill and experience working with students who use augmentative
and adaptive communication strategies and devices. \n Experience in
writing Individual Education Programs (IEP), including working
knowledge of social and behavioral language goals, specific task
analysis skills, and ability to write measurable annual goals and
objectives. \n Participate as an effective member of the IEP team.
\n Completion and maintenance of CCCs in SLP is preferred. \n
Working knowledge of state and federal regulations for disabled
students \n \n State License - Education - Certification
Requirements : \n \n Minimum of a master’s degree in a field
related to Speech-Language Pathology \n State License as a
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) through Department of Health \n
Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification through OSPI or
