Mid-Level Systems Engineer (Modeling & Simulation) to support
Boeing Global Services in Seattle, WA. Join the team building the
future of Modeling and Simulation capabilities, products and
services for the Boeing Company. You'll lead the development of
trade studies and guide creation of simulations leveraging a suite
of software tools powered by and partnered with Digital Twin
initiatives. As a member of our team, you will support strategic
decision making impactful to both the company's bottom line and
that enable our customers' mission success. This role contributes
to our Operations Simulation capability utilizing Boeing's
proprietary Alliance simulation framework, and its associated
plugins, to develop operational/mission scenarios that facilitate
simulation and analysis. Your work will inform business decisions,
influence strategy for both internal and external customers,
support use case definition, perform data analysis, identify
root-cause factors, influence design through trade studies, and
analyze sensitivity & risk. As a part of Boeing Global Services
(BGS), our primary focus is on supporting platforms in service and
shaping future service contracts. Projects vary from internal
Boeing studies to work related to government projects, which
require applicants to possess (or be eligible to obtain) a security
clearance. Position Responsibilities: - Use simulation applications
for scenario analysis to identify root-cause factors, perform trade
studies and sensitivity analyses, and provide recommendations to
Boeing program management. - Analyze complex systems, operations,
and logistics patterns; translating them into consumable inputs for
Alliance solution development. - Develop simulation modeling
requirements with clients; providing end-to-end solution
development support. - Engage with client teams to determine
fit-for-purpose value and solution needs and provide continual
updates on progress to completion. - Coordinate (and potentially
co-develop) with Alliance Core developers new methods and
capabilities based on client requirements and future capability
demands. - Create visualizations for new and existing models. -
Support development of long term technology requirements/milestones
for Alliance Core. Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering,
Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology),
Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or
non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work
statement - 4 Years Applied Analytics and/or Modeling Experience:
Demonstrated experience with analytical skills to: collect,
organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop
conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources at
the work group level. - 2 Year(s) Coding Experience: Applied
experience coding in C++, Python, or a mix of both languages. - 1
Year(s) Statistical Process Modeling: Applied experience and
general knowledge of statistically driven modeling techniques
(e.g., mathematical modeling, simulation, design of experiments,
operations research) to analyze a system. Preferred Qualifications
(Desired Skills/Experience): - Applied experience with Boeing
Modeling & Simulation technologies: Alliance, AFNES, AFSIM,
ExtendSim, or equivalent modeling and scenario building tools. -
Domain expertise in supply chain, logistics and fleet sustainment,
military systems analysis, reliability analysis, optimization
techniques. - Knowledge of modeling and prototyping tools (e.g.,
MATLAB, Mathcad, manufacturer specific tools for signal processing
software). - Knowledge of computing equipment and its operating
systems (e.g., Windows, Unix, Linux, MacOS). Conflict of Interest:

Summary Pay Range: $119,850- $162,150 Applications for this
