an Engineer II You are at the forefront of brainstorming creative
solutions for challenging projects. You support an
interdisciplinary team to deliver multimodal transportation
infrastructure in a wide range of contexts from roadway
reconstructions and streetscapes in highly urban settings to
signature trail projects in suburban and rural areas that highlight
and enhance the natural environment. You use programs such as
AutoCAD in order to fulfill production work on your projects. You
will share your knowledge with staff and clients, to develop
feasibility studies, concept plans, and construction documents, to
ensure that our projects are consistently of the highest quality.
Your job can sometimes be challenging, but you get to work with a
close-knit team that is passionate about the work and the
communities that you serve. We are targeting a salary range of
$84,000 to $99,000 for this position. Work Schedule for an Engineer
II This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of
40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and
necessary equipment to work from home 2 days per week. The Seattle
office of Toole Design is conveniently located in the heart of
Seattle’s Business District blocks from the Pike Place Market,
Seattle Art Museum, Central Public Library, and Waterfront. The
office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit or
ferry. RapidRide lines C, D and E stop right in front, and multiple
Sound Transit light rail and Sounder Commuter rail lines are a
short walk to the office. Bike lanes are close by on 2nd and 4th

Requirements: Qualifications of an Engineer II: Bachelor's or
master’s degree in transportation or civil engineering or a related
field At least 2 years of transportation related experience
Fundamentals of Engineering Certification (FE) Proficiency in
Computer Automated Design software (AutoCAD) Experience with the
Microsoft Office suite of applications A broad knowledge base in
aspects of street design and understanding of civil engineering
drawing Interest in multimodal transportation issues and active
transportation design It would be a plus if you have any of the
following: Familiarity with design software (Civil 3D, GEOPAK, or
InRoads) Prior experience at a consulting firm, public entity,
non-profit or higher learning institution Proficiency using Excel
for data analysis Experience conducting public outreach and
engagement Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and
multi-phased projects You’ll be great here if: You enjoy
