in locations without reliable connectivity. Leo Customer Terminal
Engineering is looking for an individual who will join our
Regulatory Compliance organization. This is a critical role
ensuring Leo's customer terminals and associated accessories meet
applicable government, regulatory and company regulations. As a
Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer for Amazon Leo, you will
engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to conceive,
design and develop innovative phased array antenna terminals for
traditional consumer applications as well as aviation and
automotive markets. You must be responsive, flexible and able to
succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. Key job
responsibilities • Drive global regulatory strategy across our
hardware portfolio and launch countries, working closely with
product management and design teams to research and specify
regulatory and certification requirements. • Ensure products meet
diverse international safety, EMC, wireless, and environmental
regulations for seamless market entry. • Conduct regulatory
research, testing, and certification management to navigate
complex, shifting, and country-specific requirements. • Compilation
and execution of test plans and procedures for customer terminals
and accessories at all stages of the development cycle. • Guide
cross-functional teams through complex regulatory challenges to
achieve business-critical goals, supporting the design team through
product execution to meet all applicable hardware compliance
requirements. • Assembling and managing requirements based on
target launch countries and geographic areas. • Lead creative
problem-solving of technical and non-technical regulatory
challenges, collaborating with the legal team to navigate complex
compliance issues. • Coordination of 3P lab certification campaigns
to ensure that correct certifications are completed according to
program schedule needs. • Work with partners on legal team,
homologation team and with ODM/JDMs to answer questions and resolve
ambiguity. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Leo to
stay informed about program developments and HW changes and
represent Compliance interests across the organization. •
Regulatory Compliance subject matter expert across consumer
electronics, automotive, maritime and aviation domains. • Manage
certification strategy across product SKUs. • Work with
stakeholders to define regulatory requirements and product
definition • Understand current system capabilities and limitations
and how they impact regulatory compliance. • Problem solve and
explore solutions to current processes and systems. • Drive
continuous improvement. • Flawless execution in delivery of
documents and systems to meet and exceed our partner teams
timelines. • This role will require travel. Export Control
Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations,
candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent
resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted
into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. - Experience leading
and defining requirements and driving these across diverse
organizations - 5 years of managing complex technology projects
working directly with engineering teams - 5 years in a consumer
electronics regulatory and/or compliance role - Experience with EMC
Regulatory Compliance i.e.: CISPR 32 / EN55032, CISPR 35 / EN55035,
FCC Part 15/B (US) / ICES-003 (CA) - Experience with Intentional RF
Transmission Regulatory Compliance i.e.: ETSI 303 699, ETSI 303
413, ETSI 301 489 and FCC Part 25 (US) / SRSP-101 (CA) - Experience
with safety regulatory requirements i.e.: IEC 62368-1 - Experience
with Environmental Compliance, Energy Efficiency and HazLoc/ATEx
regulatory requirements - 5 years of supply chain and/or
manufacturing for complex systems/devices - Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering, Computer Science or related, or equivalent work
experience - 3 years of aviation regulatory compliance experience -
3 years of technical product or program management experience - 5
years of working directly with engineering teams experience -
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams,
building processes and coordinating release schedules - 3 years of
project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget,
quality, along with risk and critical path management experience -
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams,
building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules -

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
