Job Title: CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Compact License or single state license accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with Neuro, Spine, Thoracic, and Vascular is a plus. Description: The position is for a CVOR RN scrub with cardiac call responsibilities. The schedule is a mid shift from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, working 3x12-hour shifts per week. The average daily census is between 50 to 75 patients. The facility has 28 operating rooms. The patient population includes orthopedic sports, minimally invasive arthroscopic and laparoscopic cases, robotics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, and plastics. RNs may float within the hospital as needed. The environment is described as busy and high acuity. Experience with Epic charting is advantageous, but not required. Candidates must comply with background checks and must have a clear record. The facility is a teaching center and a magnet hospital. RTO restrictions apply, and a one-week maximum is permitted.
