Pay Information $3,196 per week About The Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2-3 years preferred License: Compact License or single state license accepted Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Availability for weekends, ability to float within the hospital Description: Position/Specialty: Labor and Delivery RN Shift: Nights, can be 3x12 or 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30 Ratios: 1:1 First-timers accepted Weekend availability required Call requirement: None Floating policy: Yes, within the hospital and no to sister hospitals Not open to accommodating block schedule Locals accepted Pending licenses accepted Maximum time off restriction: 1 week Special Notes: Experience with childbearing women and newborns is critical. This role involves antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. It is a high-risk perinatal center, handling complex cases. Approximately 150 births occur monthly with the ability to provide outpatient services when the clinic is closed. There are dedicated operating rooms for C-sections, BTLs, and postpartum D&Cs. A second labor and delivery nurse is available for well, non-compromised newborns. Background Policy: Clinicians must be compliant before reviewing background checks, including DUIs or license issues. Prior staff must be separated from the facility for a minimum of 18 months before returning as travelers.
