Description This is a combined posting for an Associate Medical
Assistant, Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant Registered. The
requirements of each role are listed below under each associated
title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications.

benefits and more! Associate Medical Assistant: The Associate MA –
Certified (MA-C) work under the delegation of a licensed
practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing
basic patient care to assigned patients. Basic patient care needs
will be met though both administrative and clinical duties. An
associate MA–C is expected to perform in accordance with
established policies, procedures, and regulations. Required
qualifications: - Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon
hire - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30
days of hire - Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting
(0-6 months) Preferred qualifications: - Coursework/Training:
Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants or alternate
training program - 6 months Prior experience providing a high level
of customer service in a fast-paced environment - 6 months Previous
experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic
Health record (EHR) Associate Medical Assistant, Salary Range: Min:
$22.84, Max: $34.90 Medical Assistant - Certified: The MA –
Certified (MA-C) works under the delegation of a licensed
practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing
patient care to assigned patients. A MA–C performs all aspects of
the Associate MA-C role and is fully competent in the clinical
needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA–C is
expected to perform in accordance with established policies,
procedures, and regulations. Required qualifications: -
Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes
hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, Or
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant
apprenticeship program, Or - Coursework/Training: Has completed two
years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces, Or -
Coursework/Training: Minimum one year of work experience as a
medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills:
obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication
administration. - Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant
Certification. - Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS -
American Heart Association. - 6 months of Healthcare experience - 6
months of Medical Assistant experience Preferred qualifications: -
Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification Medical
Assistant, Salary Range: Min: $22.62, Max: $35.22 Medical Assistant
- Registered: The Journey Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) works
under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties
as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned
patients. A Journey MA-R performs all aspects of the Associate MA-R
role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for
assigned clinic/location of work. A Journey MA-R is expected to
perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and
regulations. Required Qualifications: - Washington Medical
Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire - National Provider
BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire - 6 months
of Healthcare experience - 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
Preferred Qualifications: - Coursework/Training: Medical Assistant,
Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit
Coordinator/Clerk Medical Assistant Registered, Salary Range: Min:
