Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: American Heart Association ACLS Card Must-Have: WA State Registered Nurse License and ACLS Certification Description: Demonstrates the ability to appropriately scrub in for heart catheterizations and arteriograms. Circulates appropriate heart catheterizations or arteriograms and understands the hemodynamic components. Assesses the patient and collects and documents the patient's current health status and medical history. Completes and/or reviews Admission Data Record as defined by policy. Makes accurate and ongoing assessments of the patient's status and responds appropriately. Plans and implements nursing actions in a logical sequence according to patient's needs. Formulates a plan of care based on the appropriate selection of nursing practice standards. Evaluates ongoing assessment and revises the plan of care based on new data and the patient's condition. Documents accurate and ongoing assessments of patient status to ensure safety. Ensures charge capture is maintained throughout the patient's care.
