Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Renton, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,686 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: Physical Therapist Assistant Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year of PTA experience, Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience License: Active PTA license Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - 1 year of PTA experience - Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience - Active PTA license Description: PTAs implement components of patient care. They obtain data related to the treatments provided. PTAs collaborate with the Physical Therapist to modify care as necessary. They assist the Physical Therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages. Key responsibilities include helping patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups. PTAs read instructions from the Physical Therapist. They work directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients. PTAs speak with families to find the best at-home techniques. They keep the physical therapy area clean and organized. PTAs move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the physical therapy area. They complete administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork. Additionally, PTAs teach patients techniques like balance training.
