ICU/Critical Care RN in Seattle, Washington, 98101! Job Title:
Critical Care Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30-07:00 Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Must have active RN license
Certifications: Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart
Association certified) Must-Have: Must have ventilator and
tracheostomy experience Candidates will be required to float to
LTAC units depending on facility census Description: Critical care
registered nurses are skilled in providing care for patients with
severe medical issues. They assess patient conditions and develop
care plans. The role includes treating wounds and providing
advanced life support. Nurses assist physicians in procedures and
monitor patient vital signs. They ensure that medical equipment
functions properly and make adjustments as needed. The
administration of intravenous fluids and medications is a key duty.
Nurses perform suctioning and collaborate with the critical care
team. They respond to life-saving situations using established
nursing protocols. Advocacy for patients and education for families
