Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit
is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients
in labor, overseeing deliveries, and ensuring post-partum care for
both mother and baby. The role requires performing cervical exams,
managing antepartum and labor processes, conducting amnio
infusions, and monitoring fetal well-being. Responsibilities:
Perform cervical exams, antepartum and labors, and amnio infusions.
Manage epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, and administer Pitocin.
Provide post-partum care from transition to discharge for mother
and baby. Circulate C-sections and assist in baby
catching/receiving. Demonstrate knowledge of APGAR and
breastfeeding practices. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years total
Labor & Delivery experience, with at least 1 year in LDRP.
Certifications in BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring. Experience with
EPIC EMR system. Scrub experience preferred; baby
catching/receiving and C-section circulation required. 5 Benefits
