position provides Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with
a depth, breadth, volume and intensity of clinical training
necessary to serve as primary care providers in FQHCs, improve
their skills and knowledge in serving the needs of our patient
population; and provide direct patient care and health care
services within the framework of established medical guidelines and
the ICHS’ Principles of Practice and approved by the appropriate
licensing board in the State of Washington. To perform this job

Recent graduates of an accredited ARNP or PA program with an
emphasis on clinical experiences in Family Practice.
Board-certified as an FNP or PA-C by the start of the program
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Washington State Interested
in long-term primary care practice Experienced in healthcare
settings that serve patients with varied needs and backgrounds (Two
or more years preferred, not required) Bilingual (Preferred, not

12-month full-time residency 1 month transition to practice Core
primary care rotations and continuity clinic Weekly learning
sessions and workshops Dedicated preceptors and regular evaluations
Protected time for a clinic-support project Ongoing mentorship and

December 1, 2025 Applications are due January 30, 2026 Interviews
are offered first week of February Interviews take place last week
of February All residency offers - March 3, 2026. Program begins
September 8, 2026. Education - Graduation from an accredited
Physician Assistant Program or an Advanced Registered Nurse
Practitioner program with an emphasis on clinical experiences in
Family Practice. Experience - Two (2) years of health care
experience and/or working with community health center patients
preferred. Other Requirement(s) - National Board Certification
(PAC) and current Physician Assistant license to practice in the
State of Washington or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
License to practice in the State of Washington. BLS Certified.
Bilingual (English/API language) preferred.
