Registered Nurse (RN) | Ambulatory Care Location: Olympia, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,513 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Ambulatory Care RN in Olympia, Washington, 98506! Job Title: Outpatient Cardiology RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years, specialized ambulatory cardiology experience preferred License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: EPIC experience Description: This is a position for a specialized Cardiology RN. This role covers a leave of absence. The RN must have specialized ambulatory Cardiology experience and be able to jump right into coverage while following internal processes. RNs with extensive inpatient cardiology experience but no ambulatory experience will be considered. The RN must be highly responsive and confirm interview availability within 24 hours after being contacted. No weekend coverage or on-call requirements are needed. Pending licenses will not be accepted. The RN will need to carefully plan time off for the duration of the contract. This position involves high acuity care. The RN must be comfortable stepping in quickly and learning workflows with minimal delay. It is preferred that the RN has cardiology experience in an ambulatory setting, or at minimum, strong cardiology experience. The RN will work with patients diagnosed with congenital heart disease, angina, arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and structural heart disease. Essential skills include obtaining and interpreting 12 lead EKGs/ECGs, performing pain assessments, and interpreting laboratory results. Additional skills include obtaining vital signs, arrhythmia interpretation, and knowledge of emergency medications. RNs will be involved in telephone triage and follow-up calls, as well as preparing charts. Experience with adult and pediatric populations is required.
