Job Description If you have prior experience working in a fast-paced, kitchen production environment and want to work around unique and high quality products, then this Full-Time Kitchen Assistant role may be a great fit for you! A local craft confectionery company that makes artisanal, infused candies is hiring a Full-Time Kitchen Assistant for their production facility ahead of their busy season. You are a good fit for this role if you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and has previous experience in a professional kitchen or bakery setting. Full-Time Kitchen Assistant Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize all food prep areas and equipment. Assist in preparation of food products. Tasks include but are not limited to: Measuring and scaling candy ingredients Cutting up candied fruit to place in molds Pouring and scraping hot candy mixture into molds Work with kitchen team to meet company standards, food safety and Liquor & Cannabis Board compliance. Full-Time Kitchen Assistant Requirements: Prior experience in food production or commercial kitchen setting (Confectionery production or baking experience in a busy kitchen is a huge plus) Able to keep up with fast & repetitive tasks. Comfortable lifting 50lbs regularly. Must have a current valid WA Food Worker Card.
