Services Role Overview: The Enterprise IT Ops Manager is
responsible for architecting, designing, planning, organizing, and
implementing enterprise-wide, scalable technologies to support
overall corporate IT operations. This role ensures the stable
operation of the company's IT computing, storage, networking, and
other mission-critical platforms. It also maintains and establishes
enterprise-wide standardization and operational documentation for
all IT systems, services, servers, storage, data networks, voice
networks, and data protection. The role requires a highly motivated
leader with robust infrastructure experience, proven success in
delivering high performance, continuous improvement, and customer
satisfaction. It is both a leadership and hands-on technical role,
involving developing and leading a technical team, managing
budgets, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the Enterprise Platforms team, including infrastructure,
operations, security, and networking, providing leadership,
management, direction, coaching, and motivation.
- Design and implement all corporate infrastructure solutions,
including security, LANs, WANs, internet/intranet connectivity,
wired and wireless connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls,
storage, servers, and virtualization technology.
- Manage the corporate Unified Communications
infrastructure.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of on-premise
and cloud-based initiatives, emphasizing standards and best
practices to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, secure,
supportable, and meet IT, business, and budgetary objectives.
- Develop technological solutions proactively to address
problems, improve efficiency, streamline functions, and enhance
productivity of the IT infrastructure.
- Ensure business continuity through the implementation of
security principles to protect confidential data from unauthorized
access.
- Maintain and update technology documents, maintenance
agreements, and service contracts related to technology operations
and services.
- Establish relationships with third-party vendors, oversee
ongoing operations, solutions, engineering, managed solutions, and
contractual services. Requirements:
- Four-year college degree in a related field (e.g., Computer
Science, Information Systems, Engineering) or equivalent business
experience. Minimum 7 years' IT experience and 2+ years managing
people.
- Strong technical background in building infrastructure for
scalable compute, storage, network, and voice services with high
availability and resiliency, including:
- System and Network Security (IPS/IDS, Firewalls, Anti-virus,
Encryption, Databases)
- Network design, management, and monitoring (LAN, WAN,
WLAN)
- Business Continuity (Backup, Recovery, Archival,
Fail-over)
- Server and Storage Systems, including Infrastructure as a
Service A good understanding of Payment Card Industry Data Security
Standard (PCI DSS) is helpful. Demonstrated leadership, proactive
problem-solving, customer service excellence, strong team and time
management, analytical skills, and excellent communication skills
are essential. Continuous learning and flexibility in an evolving
environment are also required.
