Job Title: UX Engineer at GoogleLocations: Waterloo, ON, Canada; Seattle, WA, USA; Sunnyvale, CA, USAApplyMinimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a technical, UX, or design setting, or related experience.
  • Experience with development on mobile platforms.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Expert understanding of Python and ability to rapidly learn and build with Google's Agent Development Kit.
    • Proficiency in prototyping polished frontend UI (HTML, CSS, JS, etc.) to tell a compelling product story.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present clear design rationale.
    • Portfolio showcasing consumer-facing or enterprise-grade products with strong design and high-performance front-end capabilities.About the Role:Google's UX Engineers are versatile, passionate, and collaborative, working across disciplines to develop innovative products and prototypes that bring new ideas to life. They work closely with UX teams, engineering, and product management to create industry-leading products that deliver value to users and the business.The role involves creating prototypes, launching features, building tools for UX teams, and bridging design and engineering discussions in a fast-paced environment.About Google Cloud:Google Cloud helps organizations digitally transform with enterprise solutions leveraging cutting-edge technology, serving customers in over 200 countries.Compensation:The US base salary range is $178,000-$265,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Specific salary details depend on location, skills, experience, and education.Responsibilities:
      • Implement versatile front-end solutions for GenAI agent building problems.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
      • Partner with UX, PM, and Engineering teams to explore new technological opportunities.
      • Work with UX researchers to develop user insights and prototypes for validation.
