Job Title: Senior Project Scheduler Company: System One Location: Remote Type: Contract Pay Rate: $84- $110 an/hour Overview: System One is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to support planning and scheduling efforts for advanced reactor projects. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in Oracle Primavera P6 and experience managing integrated project schedules in engineering, R&D, or DOE-regulated environments. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and the ability to manage schedule integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Develop and maintain an integrated baseline lifecycle schedule using Primavera P6. Provide regular updates and publish weekly progress reports and schedule layouts. Monitor and communicate variances from the baseline and produce snapshot analysis. Evaluate schedule performance and identify problem areas and schedule risks. Process monthly project change notices into the P6 baseline and live schedule. Analyze the critical path and schedule constraints, recommending corrective actions to ensure milestone adherence. Support Primavera P6 administration and ensure integration with EPPM and other tools. Facilitate project review meetings and provide planning support to project managers and engineering leads. Drive continuous improvement of scheduling metrics, reporting, and control procedures. Key Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (preferred). 10 years of experience in project scheduling; experience with DOE O 413.3B projects is a plus. Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and EPPM is required. Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, or similar data analytics tools. Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and Microsoft Project Online is a plus. PMP, PMI-SP, or AACE certification (preferred). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
