Offered Position: Principal, PMT - External Svcs Job Location: Seattle, Washington Job Number: AMZ9160351 Position Responsibilities: Drive product management, including feature roadmap on behalf of customers in partnership with a highly-talented engineering team. Work closely with finance, marketing, business development, technical field community, and product management peers to ensure technical offerings and services have the right positioning, messaging, and enable compelling use cases across big data platforms. Drive rhythm of business and ensure delivery to support business goals. Define high-quality roadmaps based on team strategy and vision. Develop detailed business narratives and user stories that can be used to create pricing strategies, product specifications, and new features. Work closely with sales teams, solution architects, business development, and engineering teams to solve complex product and pricing issues. Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, performance, and operational support load. Position Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition for cloud storage products; (2) with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product; and (3) technical product management.
