Key job responsibilities - Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to develop, design, and bring to market innovative devices and services - Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry - Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to latest technologies at incredible scale and speed - Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use - 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices. - Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
