Job Description:
AWS Payments and Fraud Prevention is hiring a Principal PMT-ES
to define and drive large-scale, cross-company initiatives that
shape the future of AWS's payment infrastructure. As one of AWS's
foundational services, Payments and Fraud Prevention manages the
complete payment lifecycle for AWS customers: providing accurate
financial information, ensuring efficient collection and
disbursement, and protecting AWS and its customers from
fraud-related damage. In this role, you will tackle problem spaces
that impact the full breadth of AWS services and drive the next
wave of strategic growth for the company. You'll focus on long-term
deliverables with the opportunity to deliver projects of broad
scale and scope. As a member of the product team working across
multiple initiatives, you'll collaborate with a group of product
leaders and be expected to help solve problems that span multiple
business groups. The ideal candidate will be a combination of a
detective and a diplomat. You'll learn complex technical systems
and their interconnections while building relationships across
multiple business leaders. You dive deep into problems with data
and draft persuasive working-backwards narratives based on your
insights. You adapt quickly to the evolving AI landscape while
building ambitious plans that can be delivered over time. You are
an excellent communicator—equally comfortable speaking with junior
engineers and senior executives. You thrive in ambiguity and move
fluidly from one idea to the next as you drive problems to
conclusion and discover new areas with business potential. Key job
responsibilities • Develop product requirements working backwards
from customer needs, focusing on products that enable growth,
efficiency, and scaling of AWS's payment acceptance, fraud
prevention, collections, and disbursements capabilities • Write
compelling business cases articulating investment priorities and
long-term strategic vision • Investigate technical systems spanning
multiple business units, identifying integration opportunities
across payment processing, fraud detection, and financial
operations platforms • Build consensus across product management,
engineering, solution architecture, and business development to
achieve shared goals across payment operations, fraud prevention,
and platform infrastructure • Leverage AI to transform customer
experience and operations, designing autonomous systems that reduce
friction in payment flows, accelerate fraud investigations, enable
real-time decision-making across millions of transactions, and
deliver personalized payment experiences • Drive innovation in
payment security by defining next-generation capabilities including
autonomous fraud detection, AI-powered risk assessment, and
intelligent payment routing that balance customer experience with
fraud protection • Own end-to-end delivery of multi-year
initiatives, managing complex dependencies across payment methods,
fraud systems, and global compliance requirements • Develop and
mentor product talent across the organization - 7 years of working
as a Technical Product Manager experience - 5 years of technical
(software development, network development, IT, other related)
experience - Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS
products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle,
from concept through GTM (go to market) - Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science,
Engineering, or a related field - Experience communicating complex
concepts clearly and persuasively to different audiences - The
ability to dissect complicated technical problems and build
simplified customer experiences for internal and external
customers. - Experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
from disparate sources in order to drive conclusions and
recommendations - Knowledge of professional software engineering
practices & best practices for the full software development life
cycle and operations - Experience working with large-scale billing,
payment and fraud prevention systems - Experience in pricing a
product or feature, or in defining and executing a go-to-market
strategy - Experience with public cloud technologies Amazon is an

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
