Job Title: Benefit Educator.
Job Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Job Location: Seattle, WA Area.
Pay range: $35/hr. on W2

Shift Time: As Needed Basis - with no set hours


Job Summary
The role of a Benefits Educator is a critical one to the success of our business. As the face of *** your primary responsibility is to conduct world-class enrollment events that differentiate *** from our competitors. In this role, you will be educating customers on ***s products, services, and programs through various formats including, but not limited to formal presentations, Q&A sessions, benefit fairs, health fairs, etc. The expectation is to create a highly satisfying and positive experience for our customers with knowledge, competence, and professionalism.
This req requires driving responsibilities. Candidates must live within two hours of Seattle, WA.
Job Description:
--- Have and maintain an active Life and Health Insurance License.
--- Current health care and benefit product insurance industry knowledge required.
--- Familiarization with Supplemental Health Products (Accidental Injury, Critical Illness, Hospital Care).
--- Willing to work on an "as-needed" basis (including occasional last-minute requests).
--- Will need to be available during peak season (August-December).
--- Will need to be comfortable speaking to large groups as well as with individuals 1 on 1.
--- Successfully introduce and educate in benefit programs to all potential and existing customers.
--- Troubleshoot any enrollment or benefit questions and/or concerns.
--- Will need to be willing to travel within the geographic market to cover events.
--- Must have reliable transportation.
--- Will be expected to charge expenses for travel (car rental, air, hotel, etc.) and will be reimbursed for those expenses.
--- Must have access to email, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and cell phone.
--- Must live local to the geographic area.
