Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 1:30 PM-10:00 PMHourly Rate: $24.00 an hour + $$1.25 shift differentialDo you have a taste for food? Conagra Brands is known for our Ionic brands like Reddi-wip, Slim Jim's, Duncan Hines BOOMCHIKPOP, Chef Boyardee, Swiss Miss and more!We are hiring for Maintenance Tech on our 1st shift.You will report to the shift supervisor and join a team of 235 plus team member.You will work onsite at our Food manufacturing plant is in Kent WA.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Tends machine that mixes ingredients such as salt, flour, eggs and soda to produce batter according to formula.Weighs and mixes ingredients in mixing tank.Hands stirs mix with 3' long spatula.Record information regarding ingredients and timing.Receive instructions from Cook in person or on telephone regarding the mixes needed.Record temperature of mixes.Must understand safety/Food safety (SQF)/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.Trained and validated to clean and sanitize equipment and surroundings specific to their focus area (For example, cooks - cookers, depositors, conveyors, floors, and walls)Trained and knowledgeable of the principles of sanitation, proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques, and PPE requirementsTrained and knowledgeable of ladder safetyTrained and knowledgeable in water and drain managementMust have basic knowledge of plant specific cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, chemical solution strengths, and chemical handling.Maintain regular attendance.Can work overtime to meet production deadlines.Can rotate to position of Production Specialist.Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.Other production specific duties.1-2 years Food manufacturing experience.Anticipated Close Date: June 3, 2024Location: Kent, WashingtonOur Benefits:We care about your total well-being and will support you with the following, subject to your location and role:Health: Medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life, accident and disability insuranceWealth: great pay, 401(k) and stock purchase planGrowth: online courses, virtual and on-site development experiencesBalance: paid-time offOur Company:Conagra Brands is one of North America's leading branded food companies.
