We are a AAHA accredited full-service facility offering Preventative/Routine care, Surgery and Dental procedures, Urgent Care, and Hospitalization. We provide a progressive learning environment to guide your career path, and encourage technicians to utilize their technical skills to broaden their abilities.The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:Collect patient histories and review referral medical records for pertinent informationPerform physical exams and report results to doctorPlace and maintain intravenous cathetersWorking knowledge of radiation safetyPerform radiographs and other diagnostic imaging as orderedObtain laboratory samples via venipuncture, cystocentesis, and fecal collectionPerform in-hospital laboratory diagnostics including fecals, urinalysis, differentials, and cytologiesProcess lab samples utilizing in-hospital laboratory equipmentAbility to calculate drug dosages accuratelyManage client invoices (PVL) and charge for urgent care services appropriatelyMaintain accurate and complete medical recordsMaintain a clean work environment to include following any infectious disease protocols, handle medical/biomedical, and infectious waste appropriatelySchedule: Full-time opportunity, afternoons and Saturday schedule. We utilize a 4x10 schedule, and schedule is flexible.Compensation: This position pays $26 - 30 / hour. Pay is determined by skill set, education, certifications, and years of experience in the field.
